DAYTON, OH – May 27, 2016 – DMS ink has been named by the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) as one of the country’s Fast 100 Asian American Businesses for its enormous revenue and growth rate. Fast 100 Collectively Post $3 Billion in Revenue, 44% Growth Rate

The Fast 100 winners were of Asian Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Pakistani, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese heritage representing a wide array of industries, ranging from advertising and marketing to healthcare and publishing. USPAACC’s Fast 100 posted collective annual revenue of $3 Billion, with companies recording up to 44% growth rate. The complete list of winners will be unveiled at USPAACC’s “CelebrAsian” Procurement Conference on June 1-3, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

“Our Fast 100 Asian American Businesses truly exemplify the best and brightest in our community – as members of the minority business community, they are the innovators, job creators, visionaries, and industry leaders, as well as the backbone of our national economy,” said Susan Au Allen, USPAACC National President & CEO. “We take great pride in shining the spotlight on their achievements and enormous business growth despite the uncertain economic landscape.”

Formerly, Dayton Mailing Services, Inc., the original focus of DMS ink, was on direct mail, but times and demand led to more integration with print and data. In 2005, Bob’s daughter, Christine Soward, purchased the business she had worked in since its inception. Careful, innovative investment in print technology and talent led to continued growth and the addition of two other divisions: Barrett Brothers Legal Publishing and The Bricks Agency creative strategy firm.

Today, DMS ink remains grounded as a customer-centric family-run business. To accommodate their continued expansion and innovations into data management and digital print services, DMS ink moved headquarters and expanded production operations to a second facility at 888 Dayton St. in Yellow Springs, Ohio early in 2016. As she and her staff look toward the future and greater opportunities, Soward continues to inspire her staff to establish and maintains DMS ink as an industry leader.

“We are honored to be included in this year’s list of top innovators and business leaders in the Asian American community,” said DMS ink President and CEO, Christine Soward. “In order to stay competitive and relevant, we are always trying to keep our ears to the ground for new opportunities and this honor is the direct result of the hard work and dedication of our staff.” Soward purchased the business from her father, Robert “Pops” Hale, who founded the company in 1984.

CelebrAsian is the flagship event of USPAACC and the country’s largest business-to-business conference convened by Pan Asian Americans to connect with large, medium and small enterprises. It is the largest gathering of Pan Asian American suppliers and entrepreneurs representing a myriad of industries who will connect with buyers and key decision-makers from Fortune powerhouses, government agencies, large non-profits, and the small/minority business community.

Soward will join CEOs, Presidents and top-level executives of the Fast 100 participate in the Conference and attend the Excellence Awards Reception and Gala on June 1 and the networking reception celebrating the Fast 100 Asian American Businesses on June 2. Through innovative programs, CelebrAsian provides a roadmap to Asian American suppliers to effectively navigate the supplier diversity arena, access procurement opportunities, and successfully compete in the mainstream.
