On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, DMS ink hosted an exclusive informational event sponsored by Canon Solutions America at the company’s headquarters in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Guests of both companies were invited to have some one-on-one time with some of Canon’s inkjet specialists and gain a more complete understanding of the benefits and capabilities of the flagship equipment at DMS ink.
David Szazynski , Senior Account Executive with Canon Solutions America, opened the event with a brief welcome then spent some time in an open panel-style discussion with DMS ink president and CEO, Christine Soward, on how inkjet technology is changing the printing industry.
“We were early adopters of inkjet,” explained Soward. “The Canon i300 and Colorstream 3900 have provided us with reliable, high-speed performance and the ability to offer the highest quality possible and great value to our customers.”
Both took questions from the floor then guests were broken into two tour groups, led by DMS ink executive team members, Tom Cooper and Jim Hoffman. The walk included a look at the main offices and production areas of the facility, featuring detailed discussions, demonstrations, and Q&A, on the Canon Colorstream 3900 and the Oce VarioPrint i300 injet printers presented by Canon experts.
Tours rounded up in the facility atrium where guests enjoyed refreshments from local caterer, Current Cuisine, craft beer by Yellow Springs Brewery, and specialty wine provided by Emporium Wines.
